Turkey Hunting

We have a very high success rate because we have a lot of birds and our hunters listen to our guides! We start hunting before daylight and in Illinois you can hunt until 1:00. There are specific seasons with specific dates that you will need to apply for. 

We hunt in all weather, so be sure to bring camo, rain gear and bug repellent. 

Once you take a bird and put your tag on it, your guide will clean it for the trip home so be sure to bring a cooler!

Illinois turkey hunting is based on a lottery system. You will need to apply on the Illinois DNR website. You will need to select the season you want and be sure to choose Franklin County and Southern Zone! 

The application process starts December 12 for IL residents and January 15 for Non-residents.

You will need TWO ITEMS: A valid Illinois hunting license and a Wild Turkey Permit for our specific area- Franklin County.

Sweet T Outfitters requires a deposit at time of booking to reserve your spot. Hunters pay half down at booking and the other half when you arrive at camp. Deposits are non-refundable unless certain circumstances and at the discretion of the owners of Sweet T Outfitters. Sweet T reserves the right to use photos of your hunt on social media or our website.   All licenses and permits will be checked upon arrival and prior to each hunt for compliance.
